 Landlord Gas Safety Checks

A landlord must ensure the property is safe and free from health hazards. 

To do this they must:

  • Make sure all gas equipment they supply is safely installed and maintained by a gas safe registered engineer. 

  • This includes carrying out an annual gas safety check on each appliance and flue

Boiler Servicing

Your boiler plays an important part in your family life in providing a warm home and hot water all year round. So it is vital that it is regularly serviced to ensure it performs at its highest efficiency and remains safe. 

We recommend having your boiler serviced in the summer when heating requirements are at their lowest, that way if any faults are found, you have time to fix them before winter sets in. However, as long as it is regularly checked, any time of year will be sufficient.
